Mesquite has never had a Mercedes-Benz dealer, and the franchised departments are across the whole of Dallas on the north and west sides, 25–40 minutes away in traffic. We are geographically the obvious option: the Mesquite city limit at I-635 is the eastern edge of our area.
The city has three faces. North Mesquite, zip 75150, is the Northwest Drive and Galloway Avenue corridor and the streets behind Town East, 1960s–1970s brick ranches. Central Mesquite and downtown, 75149, is the older grid around the rodeo arena and Military Parkway, with the industrial strips. South and east Mesquite, 75181, is Creek Crossing, Falcon's Lair and the Lawson Road side, 1990s–2000s subdivisions running toward Sunnyvale.
The Mercedes here are owned, not leased, and they are kept: W211 E320 and E350, W164 ML350, X164 GL450, W220 and W221 S-Class bought used, W209 CLK coupes, and plenty of Sprinter and Metris vans belonging to the HVAC, landscaping, roofing and delivery companies based off Military Parkway and around Town East.
The question from a Mesquite owner is rarely whether the car is perfect; it is how to keep a 150,000-mile ML or E-Class safe and reliable at a cost that makes sense, explained in English or Spanish as the owner prefers.
